Monday morning arrived at the Blake house and there wasn't much going on. Brad, Samantha, Abby and Danielle all had their schedules clear for the next few days. Sam took work off to help Brad finish the addition to the house. Brad had other ideas. At about 8:30 that morning Brad asked Sam if she wanted to take a short trip out of town. Samantha being the spontaneous and and adventurous type thought that sounded fun.The next problem was figuring out where to go. We only had three days off. Brad looked at flights all over and finally told the family his idea. "Lets go to Paris". The girls were a little surprised! Paris? The one in France?Brad told them that the flights looked good and they could travel first class across the Atlantic. There was a catch. We had to be out of the house and on the road in twenty minutes! We all scurried around the house cramming things into our suitcases. In less than twenty minutes we were on our way.We flew from St George to Salt Lake City and took the new Direct flight to Paris. All of us got first class seats including Abby and Danielle! We all relaxed, watched movies and feasted on fillet Mignon and lobster on our way over. Its amazing how easy it is to fall asleep on a plane when you have a real quilted blanket, a big comfy pillow and a seat that turns into a bed.Abby and Danielle were both amazed at the first class bags they received. The bags had mouthwash, toothpaste, chap stick, a tooth brush, hand lotion, slippers, and eye covers. Brad liked the Noise canceling head phones. We arrived in Paris well rested and ready to see the city. We saw all the sights in a whirlwind tour of the city. We started at 8:00 am and didn't stop until we had seen all the major attractions. I will tell you all about that in my next post.

I love that you guys did this. It cracked me up when I saw the posts on the family website. I thought, are they really in Paris? So spontaneous! I am learning to be a little more spontaneous--Ian's rubbing off on me some.
