Hola Amigos!

True to form, when Brad's buddy needed a few days off and the trade of days left Brad and I with 2 days off together....we were off. Thursday evening we flew out to Guadalajara Mexico. Its the 2nd biggest city in Mexico. It is also home of the Mariachi bands and tequila! We sampled the bands but not the tequila. The historic center of the city is seriously Spanish in style. The cathedrals (which were all over the place) were surrounded by pedestrian streets, open plazas, and all kinds of fountains. We took a carriage ride/tour all around the historic part of town for 45 min for 18 dollars! Nice! We spent a day and a half and then hustled ourselves home. Again another whirlwind adventure, but if we don't take 'em we'd never get out of Washington County!
