Today is Veterans Day. I would like to thank all of those who have defended freedom and made this world a better, safer place to live. I want to especially thank my dad Colonel Jay R Blake. My dad has served in the military; both active duty and Army reserve most of his life. He served in Korea and the 1st Gulf war.

We had the chance to tour the Korean War memorial in Washington D.C with my dad this summer. We were all reminded that freedom comes at a price. There was a fresh wreath laid that day by the Korean Ambassador. The wreath said "Theirs was a gift for which there is no equal".
